The Money School, the signature program of the Delaware Financial Literacy Institute, was established in 1999. The Money School brings community-based financial education to adults across the state. Classes are scheduled on a wide variety of subjects from basic money management to investing and planning for retirement. Money Talk$, in partnership with the Center for Economic & Entrepreneurship Education, assists teachers in integrating personal finance into the curriculum and includes:

Money $marts, in collaboration with the Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship, is a comprehensive program designed to establish a financial dialogue between youth and adults. It provides a practical, hands-on introduction to personal finances.

- MoneyRules for High School Students - Created in 2005, the Summit invites high school juniors to a daylong seminar to learn about saving, budgeting, and the high cost and wise use of credit.
- Chasing the Dream - created in 2007, Chasing the Dream gives students a one week venture creation experience. Campers meet local entrepreneurs,
practice critical and creative problem solving, and have the opportunity to run their own business for a day keep any profits their businesses generate.
- *ME Competition - 2006 marked the 20th anniversary of this event which is held in Georgetown and Newark. 500 third through sixth graders compete in problem solving, team production, and a test of economic, entrepreneurship, and financial skills.

A hands-on banking experience in which elementary students deposit savings weekly at bank "branches" in their schools. The program creates partnerships between banks and schools and is designed to teach students about financial management. Students open non-custodial savings accounts and learn banking basics in this program which nurtures the often neglected ethic of saving.
